School of Public Administration Held the 71st “Lushan Senior Schoolmate Forum”

On the evening of May 8, the School of Public Administration held the 71st Lushan Senior Schoolmate Forum in Room 604 of the Laboratory Building. This forum was presided over by Yang Qiuyuan, the Secretary of CYL Committee School Sub-branch of Public Administration. Liu Jiafu, 2012-grade student from School of Business Administration, gave a lecture, with the theme of “Help You Succeed in Civil Servant Employment”.

Liu Jiafu took the Examination for Employing Civil Servants of central government and departments directly under the central government in 2016. More than 60 people competed for a post, and he was admitted to the SAT Minhou County Branch, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, ranking in the first place in the written examination and interview, thus employed as a civil servant.

During the forum, Liu Jiafu talked about his skills and methods passing the examination for civil servants employment with his own experience. He first brought everyone to the process of civil servant recruitment by introducing the definition of civil servant, examination and application, made the detailed explanation according to the knowledge level involved in the written examination, illustrated the question types and problem solving methods taking the examples, and vividly explained the notes and skill of civil service examination interview with his personal experiences. Meanwhile, he put forward the suggestions according to his experiences and expressed his sincere wishes. During the questioning, Liu Jiafu gave the patient answer to students’ questions and said everyone is equal in this examination.

Finally, Yang Qiuyuan, the Secretary of CYL Committee School Sub-branch, made a summary and hoped everybody could gain inspiration from Liu Jiafu’s story and become more excellent person. (Xiong Jieying)
