Professor Lin Junbiao from National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology in Taiwan Visited School of Finance of Our University

On March 18th , a delegation led by Lin Junbiao, deputy director of Finance Department in National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology visited our university’s School of Finance, and gave a school presentation to students enrolled in 2015, focusing on “Special Summer Class of General Finance Courses for Mainland Students in Taiwan”. The meeting was held in the library’s multi-functional lecture hall in north campus of Hunan University of Commerce. Cao Qiuju and Yan Wei, deputy deans in School of Finance, and relative teachers attended it.
In this meeting, professor Lin Junbiao gave a brief introduction to the mainland students studying in Taiwan in the past years and gave details about “Special Summer Class of General Finance Courses for Mainland Students in Taiwan” in 2016, as well as the schedule of 15-day Study Tour in Taiwan. He also humorously introduced local culture and customs, tasteful meals and marvelous views.
He warmly welcomed mainland students to go for study tour in Taiwan, hoping they could obtain knowledge and gain meaningful experiences. He also hoped these study tour could enhance the exchanges among young people across the straits.
Later, Liu Saihong, general secretary of Party Branch, Cao Qiuju, deputy dean of School of Finance, Chen Xiuqian, director of Finance Department treated the delegation and had an in-depth communication with them in south campus about a special cooperation project “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Taiwan and Mainland”. Both sides expressed their willingness in the coming cooperation.
In recent years, School of Finance has given great impetus to a difference-oriented education system, endeavoring to create diversified learning conditions favorable for students’ growth. In the future this tendency will continue more forcefully so that students’ special capacities will be improved and that practical finance talents will be cultivated with solid theoretic foundations, high comprehensive qualities as well as international vision.
