President of Hunan Sino-Canadian International School Gives Lecture

On Nov. 12, Liang Xiao, the Canadian PhD holder, president of Hunan Sino-Canadian International School, gave a lecture themed of “How to Value Our University Life in Language Studies” for students from School of Foreign Languages on north campus.

As the founder of the Xiaomi Scholarship, Liang started her lecture with an awarding ceremony for the ten scholarship winners.

Her speech consisted for themes: Attitude, Career Plan, Major Studies and Social Activities.

She also shared her experience of education, training and working when she was a college student to lead the student in thinking of how to value their college lives, with special emphasis on career plan and major study.

Her plain but profound speech won continuous and fervent interactions during the event. (Shao Anqi)
