On Nov 5th, China Emissions: Alter Energy Markets, an article by president Chen Xiaohong and Prof. Ren Shenggang and Associate Prof. Li Dayuan, the core members of Two Oriented Society and Ecological Civilization Cooperative Innovative Centre-, was published on Nature (Impact factor:41.456).

As the world’s earliest scientific journal, Nature is one of the most authoritative scientific magazines, which commits to reporting the major discoveries and breakthroughs in scientific research and looks for latest scientific achievements on earth. The weekly has a readership of 600,000 around the world in which a quarter was issued to libraries and institutions of scientific research. Nature Communication Journal is the brief research report discussing the published articles or highlighted issues on the magazine.

Based on the purpose of setting up an overall carbon-emission right market of China to reduce carbon emission, the article proposed a series of measures including reforming the assessing system of magistrates, empowering the market dynamics, breaking the market monopoly of energy sources, promoting marketization of energy sources price, etc. Nature and Science are the two most influential journals whose reviewing is so strict that publishing article on it has become a symbol of world class research achievement.
