Students of Our School Awarded in 2015 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest of Hunan Region

During the 2015 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest of Hunan Region, Hunan University of Commerce won 2 third prizes and 1 winning award. The Multi-rotor Autonomous Aircraft directed by teachers of Wang Li and Zhao Xinyu and students of Liu Yong, Luo Zhengbin and Cai Tianshu as well as the Wind Pendulum Control System directed by teachers of Zhao Xinyu and Ni Wenzhi and students of Peng Jinyang, Wang Xielin and Li Yongguang won 2 third prizes after four days of installing, designing and debugging.

The National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest is a high-level discipline competition co-hosted by the Ministry of Information Industry and the Ministry of Education, which aims to fostering the innovation capability, team spirit and the ability to resolve practical problems among university students.

The works testing and overall assessment of the 2015 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest of Hunan Region were held in Hunan University on August 20th. Over 1000 undergraduates from 338 teams of 34 universities of Hunan Province participated in this contest, among which 135 teams won awards. Hunan University of Commerce has in total six teams from our electronic information and engineering faculty, and three of them were awarded.
