Theme Event: Changsha City’s Employment and Business Startup Service in Hunan University of Commerce

The afternoon of 27th Oct. marked the holding of the employment guidance lecture–the theme event of Changsha City’s employment and business startup service in schools- in Multifunction Hall of our school. Mr. Yi Weijun and Mr. Li Hong, the general director and the deputy director of Changsha City’s Bureau of Employment Service, Mr. Liu Jibo and Mr. Ge Xinhui, the director and the deputy director of our Admission and Employment Guidance Division and other over 300 teachers and students attended this theme event. In the event, we also invited Mr. Zou Xiufeng, the President of Beijing Aoturen Corporation to deliver his speech. The lecture was hosted by Mr. Li Hong.

The topic of Mr. Zou Xiufeng’s speech was “Unveiling the Mysterious Job Hunting from the Perspective of HRs.” His lecture was in several main sections, ranging from the current employment situation of university graduates, the goal setting of job hunting, the usage of available job-hunting resources and the making of resume to the preparation of job interview. Mr. Zou also shared and exchanged vivid stories and cases with the attendees, which greatly livened up the lecture’s atmosphere.

Meanwhile, there was also a policy publicity session of employment and business startup service for college students, publicizing related policies for our college students, such as the job-hunting and business startup allowance, the application for business startup loans and the house-renting allowance for business-startup.
