Students in Law School Visited People's Procuratorate of Changsha County and Sany

On April 4th, Under the leadership of Liu Qixiang, deputy secretary of the Party branch, Zeng Xing, deputy dean, and Yuan Lu, director of students’ office, 24 student Party members and cadres visited People's Procuratorate of Changsha County and Sany participated in the seminar of which the theme was “Judicial credibility”.
At People's Procuratorate of Changsha County, the guide introduced its basic structure and major functions providing background information about development of law, elites and affairs of law. Students had a direct feel of prosecutor’s work after visiting the inquiry room, interrogation room, reception room and computer room.
In Sany, Zhou Wanchun, the vice president, guided students to look further into the enterprise. Students felt the charm of the world top 500 enterprise after he gave a detailed introduction to Sany from its establishment of brand to present business performance and capital market, from its various first-class mechanism to its industrial distribution both home and abroad, from its social responsibility to the core competitive edge.
Then, seminar with the theme of “Judicial Credibility” was held in Sany’s meeting room. Zhou Wanchun sent his salutatory oration; Cao Lixia, the legal representative of Sany, briefly introduced the legal work of this enterprise and the three-level system of legal management with typical judicial cases over the years. Xie Yan, the representative of the People’s Procuratorate of Changsha County, made a statement for the expression of judicial credibility. He showed that procedural justice should precede substantive justice and inspecting authority should strengthen the legal supervision of punishment reformation with some examples. Cheng Yu, Li Huan and Yan Yangyang, the students in our university shared their opinions and expressed determination to learn the basic knowledge of law well and improve themselves in practice.
