Lecture Was Held Successfully on “Public Relations and Enterprise Management”

In the evening of May 4th, Mr Lei Haibo, the winner of “Kunpeng”  Young Entrepreneur Award in Hunan province, held a lecture with the theme “ Public Relations and Enterprise Management”. All sophomores of Marketing Department of our university listened to this lecture earnestly.

Lei Haibo analyzed the university students’ innovative undertaking from a new perspective, proposing the condition of beginning a business was “one intention three abilities”, that was, ambition, learning ability, insight and willpower.He then narrated his struggle starting from scratch to be a millionaire, and especially suggested that problems could be solved through reading during the process of carrying out a business. He argued that reading could help us think and prepare for the future self-development. Students should consolidate foundation and improve themselves by reading. In addition, he pointed that money should not be the only pursuit in starting a career; instead, interest and fun should also be taken into account.

This lecture, initiated by Marketing majors while they were studying the course of Public Relations, was a successful application of what was learned in class into practice. Teacher Wu Qingsong said this practice aimed to be complementary with traditional class and cultivate students’ independent learning ability and practical ability. (Li Yudong)
