Law School Held Private Financial Risk Prevention Seminar

 On March 4th , Hunan Private Financial Risk Prevention Seminar was held in Changsha. Professor Yang Zhengrong, dean of Law School chaired the meeting.
　　Under the new normal of the economic downturn, the private finance had played a positive role in easing financing difficulties in small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in small and micro enterprises. But the current relevant laws and regulations to supervise and manage private finance were not perfect. Although private finance risks in our province were controllable, there were still some disputes, risks and hidden danger. Not to be resolved timely, disputes would be accumulated, magnified into mass incidents, and brought social instability. Common people's mediation played an irreplaceable role in the process of maintaining social stability and harmony with the distinct advantages of effectively combing social conflicts, timely mediating disputes, maintaining the rights and interests of the parties involved. The seminar aimed to combine the advantages of people's mediation with preventing private finance risks, studying and exploring the function of people's mediation in the process of private financing to resolve disputes, to prevent disputes and to publicize the laws .
　　Leaders, experts and representatives of enterprises made speeches respectively covering the present situation of private financial development in our province, the existing problems, the demand and necessity of people's mediation intervention. Besides, they also gave counsel on how people's mediation boosted private finance, resolved conflicts and disputes, maintained social stability. Professor Yang Zhengrong suggested to put the disputes in private finance into the people's mediation, and to establish the pilot people's mediation committee. Director Sun Haobo pointed out that the advantages of private finance to the economic and social development outweighed the disadvantages and it was inseparable for small and micro enterprises to develop financing and reduce financing costs successfully. Under the guidance of the government, people's mediation could play a better role in serving for private finance industry and thus maintain social harmony and stability. Next, the judicial and administrative departments would establish some pilot people’s mediation committees in some cities and counties around Changsha which would provide mediation services for private financial disputes. This meeting innovated the mode of people’s mediation and inspired us to put it in serving for private finance.
