On November 29, the 2025 Hunan Provincial College Students Football League, sponsored by the Department of Education of Hunan Province, came to a successful conclusion. Led by head coach Yao Yuanjian and assistant coach Fu Shengfeng, the Women's Football Team (Group B) of HUTB made its debut and showed amazing perseverance in five high-intensity matches over five days, claiming the third place.

This year's league gathered elite teams from many universities across the province. In the opening match, HUTB Women's Football Team took on Hunan Institute of Engineering. The two sides fought fiercely until the penalty shootout, where the players held their nerves and secured the first victory by one goal, showing their talent at the very beginning. In the following four days of consecutive matches, facing physical exhaustion and the dilemma of multiple injured players, the entire team maintained strong cohesion and forged ahead bravely throughout the competition.

In the final fierce battle against the defending champion University of South China–a traditional powerhouse with three consecutive titles–the players, exhausted and injured from days of intense competition, held their ground against the opponent with tenacious defense and precise counterattacks. Relying on the entire team's fighting spirit, they persisted to the end with high morale and ultimately claimed the third place.

From team building and running-in to becoming one of the top three teams in the province, HUTB Women's Football Team has interpreted the sports spirit of never giving up through five matches in five days. Different degrees of injuries did not stop their progress, and behind every whistle blow is a growth chapter written by the players with sweat. This award is a historic breakthrough for the university's women's football team. It is not only the result of the team's unity and hard work, but also a vivid reflection of the university's high attention to the construction of "Sports HUTB". What blooms on the green field is not only the flower of victory, but also the brilliant achievement of moral education and all-round development.
