Recently, Zeng Weihao and Wang Wantao, students from the "Hong Class" of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing (Xiangjiang Academy) at HUTB, went to Hong Kong to participate in the "Hunan-Hong Kong Youth Fellowship" exchange and study tour, conducting in-depth exchanges with Hong Kong youth students for several days. Taking culture as a bridge and exchanges as a medium, the activity aimed to broaden students' international horizons and deepen the friendship between young people in Hunan and Hong Kong.

During the study tour, the HUTB students visited cultural landmarks including the Hong Kong Palace Museum and relevant art galleries, gaining an in-depth understanding of the Chinese cultural context and Hong Kong's diverse culture. At the University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, they had in-depth discussions with students from Hong Kong universities on topics such as academic studies, campus life and career planning, which broadened their academic horizons and enhanced mutual understanding between young people from the two places. During the trip, the students also visited the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to learn about the rule of law system and social governance, and went to a home for the elderly to carry out public welfare services, practicing the traditional virtues of respecting and caring for the elderly.

This activity not only broadened the students' horizons and enriched their knowledge, but also served as a spiritual connection between young people in Hunan and Hong Kong. With a positive and uplifting spirit, the HUTB students demonstrated the university's effective practice in cultivating international talents. In the future, HUTB will encourage more students to strengthen their confidence and grow into talents through cross-cultural exchanges and dialogues, becoming a new generation of young people with patriotism and international vision, so that the friendship between young people in Hunan and Hong Kong will endure through joint progress.
