National Fresh Agricultural Product Logistics Development Seminar was held in Changsha

[New Hunan Client] News on Jun. 3 (journalist: Yu Rong, correspondent: Wang Song) The National Fresh Agricultural Product Logistics Development Seminar sponsored by logistics major of national financial colleges and undertaken by College of Business Administration of Hunan University of Commerce and Hunan Modern Logistics Research Basis was held in Changsha on Jun. 2.

During the meeting, the fresh agricultural product logistics development of China driven by “Study on Our Fresh Agricultural Product Logistics Efficiency from the Perspective of Circulation Mode, Governmental Regulations and Common Logistics Coordination” (key project of National Social Science Fund) undertaken by Professor Huang Fuhua is discussed.

He Mingke, a professor and vice President of Beijing Wuzi University, Li Yanfeng, a professor and dean of College of Logistics of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Xie Ruhe, a professor and dean of College of Economics and Management of Guangzhou University, Li Wenfeng, a professor and vice dean of College of Logistics Engineering of Wuhan University of Technology, Tao Juncheng, a professor and director of Hubei Logistics Development Research Center of Hubei University of Economics, Huang Fuhua, a professor and dean of College of Business Administration of Hunan University of Commerce, Dr. Wang Song, the director of Logistics Management Department, College of Business Administration of Hunan University of Commerce and other well-known experts in national logistics and supply chain field were present in the meeting.

At the seminar, Professor Huang Fuhua gave a topic report and said that “the enhancement of logistics efficiency of fresh agricultural product, logistics environment optimization of fresh agricultural product are significant to speeding up the agricultural modernization, boosting the agricultural supply-side structural reform and realizing rural revitalization. In order to solve the high logistics costs, high loss and low efficiency of fresh agricultural product inChina, it is necessary to promote the rural E-commerce and logistics development, coordinate and share the interfirm resources and build the mutual logistics mode. In addition, he also put forward the specific suggestions to enhance the logistics efficiency of fresh agricultural product in the following aspects, namely, perfect the information platform, build the industry development funds and strengthen the logistics policy coordination.

After that, the participating experts and scholars discussed the fresh agricultural product logistics development inChinaaccording to theme report. They agreed that this key project had built the economics and management theory explanation framework for our fresh agricultural products logistics efficiency and enriched the study on logistics theory; measured the logistics efficiency of fresh agricultural product in China, built the related database for research and dynamic evaluation index system for logistics efficiency; researched the circulation mode, governmental regulations and logistics coordination mechanism for fresh agricultural product, as well as raised the effective countermeasures and suggestions.

In the communication links, these scholars spoke out freely to discuss the research fronts and hot issues about agricultural product logistics according to the national conditions and their area of specialization, then, put forward a series of constructive opinions and new thoughts in the following aspects, namely, build the logistics efficiency and circulation mode for fresh agricultural product, make plan for agricultural product logistics park, carry out governmental supervision, and optimize the logistics interaction.
