HUTB Postgraduates Create Another Success in the 7th Hunan MPAcc Students’ Enterprise Case Competition

From July 1 to 3, the 7th “Tianzhi Cup” Hunan MPAcc Students’ Enterprise Case Competition, organized by the Department of Education of Hunan Province, was held under the theme of “Enterprise Risk Management and Financial Strategic Transformation Under Digitalization of COVID-19 Prevention”, where 48 teams from 13 colleges with MPAcc postgraduate training programs in Hunan Province participated. After multiple examinations, 4 postgraduate teams from HUTB won the grand slam awards, including 2 first prizes, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 1 innovation prize, ranking first in the number of awards. In addition, Yang Chengyin won the “Best Individual Performance Award”; He Yong, Zhu Peng, Gong Yuanjing, Zhang Yan and Yan Cai, teachers from HUTB, won the “Excellent Instructor Award”, and HUTB won the “Excellent Organization Award”.
Under the firm leadership of the HUTB Party Committee, the School of Accounting has earnestly implemented the “Three Advances and Three Highs” development strategy, and builds an excellent accountant training center through establishing training mechanisms such as academic degree postgraduate thesis competition and professional degree postgraduate enterprise case competition. The School of Accounting elaborately organized a selection competition in December 2021. During the preparation, the School of Accounting prepared a special case discussion room for the participating teams, organized the participating teams to obtain first-hand materials through field survey and interview, and invited experts to refined the entry texts. Through the competition, HUTB effectively enhances the innovation ability and professional practical ability of the postgraduates of the School of Accounting, improves the talent training quality, and advances the innovative development of HUTB’s accountant training mode.
