The “Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” Competition is a discipline competition recognized by the Ministry of Education. The competition added the cross-border e-commerce practical competition track for the first time. The track is divided into four sub-tracks, i.e. Alibaba international website, eBay, independent website and cross-border e-commerce live broadcast. 9872 teams from 689 colleges around the country participated in the competition. After half a year of the theory competition, the first phase of the practical competition (simulation game) and the second phase of the practical competition (docking Alibaba international websites or AliExpress stores), 40 teams from 13 divisions (10 teams per sub-track) entered the final comprehensive competition (finals). Under the careful guidance of instructors Luo Shuanglin and Tan Feiyan, the HUTB student team members worked in cooperation with a due division of labor, leveraged their advantages, and obtained excellent results.

The School of Economy & Trade earnestly implements the HUTB education philosophy of the integrated development of “new engineering +new business +new liberal arts” and science, actively deepen the reform and innovation of the talent training mode, promote the university-government-enterprise cooperation between the cross-border e-commerce industry college and the talent incubation base of the China (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, and advance the new business course construction of the cross-border e-commerce major to yield new results. By participating in the cross-border e-commerce practical competition, HUTB improves the students’ ability to link theory to practice and solve practical problems, reach the objectives of promoting study through competition and cultivating talents through competition, and further boosts HUTB’s social influence in cross-border e-commerce talent training.
