Recently, CAE released the Member List of the Standing Committees of Academic Divisions. Chen Xiaohong, CAE Academician and HUTB Party Secretary, was elected as a member of the 8th Standing Committee of the Engineering Management Academic Division.
The election will further give play to the leading role of strategic scientists in promoting science and technology innovation and serving the national and regional economic and social development, fully demonstrate the mission and responsibility of CAE Academicians, and provide important consultation and scientific decision-making regarding state major strategic demand, implementation of state super-large engineering projects and research and development of state relevant disruptive technologies and “bottleneck” technologies, and breeding of industrial clusters (industrial chains). At the same time, the election will also provide strong support and inject strong impetus as HUTB strives to achieve “Three Advances and Three Highlands” strategic objectives and build an innovative, first-class technology and business university with distinctive characteristics.
