HUTB Cooperates with Frostburg State University (USA) to Develop Undergraduate Program

Recently, the Ministry of Education approved HUTB to cooperate with Frostburg State University (USA) to develop an undergraduate program of visual communication design (No.: MOE43US2A20222260N).
The program is intended to train the international digital visual communication talents, and will be included in the National Undergraduate Enrollment Plan for General Higher Education in 2022, with an annual enrollment of 120 students and a maximum education scale of 480 students. The program will be held in main campus. The program offers 43 courses, with HUTB teaching 27 courses and Frostburg State University (USA) teaching 16 courses. Frostburg State University (USA) will deliver teachers, teaching materials, academic evaluation system and other educational resources to HUTB according to the teaching plan and schedule. The students of the program will obtain the Undergraduate Diploma of Visual Communication Design and Bachelor's Degree Certificate of Art issued by HUTB and the Bachelor's Degree Certificate of Art issued by Frostburg State University (USA) after obtaining the required credits and reaching the corresponding grade points.
HUTB launched the Sino-foreign cooperative education program in 2004, and has trained more than 4,000 graduates, and 1,250 students are currently studying in campus. In 2016, HUTB cooperated with Frostburg State University (USA) to develop an undergraduate program in finance, and in 2018, it cooperated with University of West London to develop an undergraduate program in accounting. Sino-US Visual Communication Art Design Program is the third Sino-foreign cooperative undergraduate program of HUTB approved by the Ministry of Education, which fully shows that HUTB's high-quality development of Sino-foreign cooperative education has been highly affirmed by the government and society.
Founded in 1898, Frostburg State University (USA) can award doctoral, master and bachelor degrees. In 1953, it was first certified by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Introduction by HUTB of the high-quality educational resources of digital media technology and art design to construct the Sino-US cooperative education platform of "Digital Technology + Art Design + English Application" will further promote the internationalization of the visual communication design major of HUTB and the cultivation of international advanced visual communication design professionals, and make due contributions to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
