[Doing Practical Work for Faculty and Students] Chief Leaders Lead a Team to Inspect the Campus Construction

On January 11, Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, Wang Minggao, Director of the Academic Committee, Vice Party Secretary Xiao Xiaoqin, Vice Presidents Yang Liangqi and Yi Mianyang, led the heads of relevant functional departments to inspect the construction of main campus. Li Qunsu, Deputy Head of People's Government of Yuelu District, Changsha City, attended relevant activities.

The team led by Secretary Chen Xiaohong inspected the new projects such as the fence of Hetang Community, Friendship Pavilion, kindergarten, renovation of track and field stadium. During the inspection, Chief Leaders listened carefully to the reports on the current construction, completion and use, inspected the construction quality of new projects on the spot, highly affirmed the construction achievements, and told relevant functional departments to conscientiously implement the follow-up construction tasks. In the kindergarten, Secretary Chen Xiaohong and Deputy Head Li Qunsu watched the children's flag-raising ceremony, and had a cordial exchange with kindergarten teachers and children, encouraging the children to be patriotic and forge ahead.

Secretary Chen Xiaohong pointed out that all functional departments have thoroughly implemented the spirit of the first Party Congress of HUTB, solidly promoted the construction of the "Happiness and Peace" project, and served teachers and students wholeheartedly, which made teachers and students' sense of happiness, gain and pride constantly improved, and achieved good work results. She stressed that all functional departments shall integrate their initial intentions and missions into practical actions to serve teachers and students and overcome difficulties, so as to further promote the implementation of the practical activities of " Doing practical work for faculty and students ", work hard to solve the urgent problems of teachers and students, make efforts to build a "happy and safe" campus, continuously improve the quality and taste of campus life, and unite the powerful force of teachers and students of the whole university to jointly promote the high-quality development of university undertakings.
