Inaugural Meeting of Tennis Branch of Students Sports Association of Hunan Held in HUTB

On December 26, the inaugural meeting and the first Council of Tennis Branch of Students Sports Association of Hunan were held in Conference Room 301 in the No.2 Office Building, and attended by Luo Yuelong, Deputy Director of Hunan Sports Bureau, Xiao Xiaoqin, Vice Party Secretary and Dean (part-time) of School of Sports and Health. Jin Biao, first-class researcher of Department of Education of Hunan Province, Zhou Wen, Legal Person and Vice Chairman of Students Sports Association of Hunan, Cui Heng, Director of Hunan Tennis Management Center, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Hunan Tennis Association, representatives of brother universities, primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and enterprises, and heads of relevant departments of HUTB participated in the conference. The meeting was presided over by Kuang Yumei, Party Secretary of School of Sports and Health.
Vice Secretary Xiao Xiaoqin delivered a welcome speech on behalf of HUTB. He extended a warm welcome to the superior leaders, representatives of brother universities, primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and enterprises who attended the conference, and introduced the early preparations of Tennis Branch of Students Sports Association of Hunan.
Researcher Jin Biao read out the Reply for Approving the Establishment of Tennis Branch of Students Sports Association of Hunan, announced the list of leading institutions of the branch and made a speech.
Deputy Director Luo Yuelong presented the plaque of Tennis Branch of Students Sports Association of Hunan to HUTB, and presented Vice Secretary Xiao Xiaoqin with the letter of appointment for the first president of the Tennis Branch of the Third Committee of the Students Sports Association of Hunan. Leaders at the meeting jointly presented plaques and letters of appointment to 11 vice-president organizations and 14 vice presidents.
Xiao Xiaoqin, the first president of Tennis Branch of Students Sports Association of Hunan, made a statement. He said that within the scope of his duties, he would try his best to find talents and gather contacts for the tennis club, serve and coordinate the tennis club, promote the campus tennis in Hunan to enter the first phalanx of the country as soon as possible, and train more and better tennis talents.
Deputy Director Luo Yuelong summarized the conference. He congratulated the establishment of Tennis Branch of Students Sports Association of Hunan, highly affirmed the preparation by School of Sports and Health, and put forward higher requirements and expectations for the future development of tennis in our province. He hopes that tennis can become a new business card for sports in Hunan Province with the help of schools and enterprises at all levels in the province, and become an important part of the strategy of strengthening the province by sports
