Postgraduate Qualifying Examination Center of HUTB Successfully Complete the Examination Organization of National Postgraduate Entrance Examination 2022

National Postgraduate Entrance Examination 2022 was held from December 25 to 26, and the examination center of HUTB successfully completed the examination organization and epidemic prevention.
As one of the postgraduate qualifying examination centers in Hunan Province, the examination point of this year is located in Lezhi Building of main campus, with a total of 44 examination rooms (including isolated examination rooms and standby examination rooms), more than 200 faculty participating in the examination and management services, and 1,196 candidates taking the examination.
Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE academician, attached great importance to the organization of this postgraduate qualifying examination, specially understood the progress of various preparatory works, and asked the Graduate School and relevant departments to make overall plans for the safety examination and epidemic prevention and control according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Department of Education of Hunan Province and Hunan Education Examination Authority, and gave guidance from various aspects. President Huang Xin made a special trip to the Graduate School to learn about the preparations for the postgraduate qualifying examination, and proposed to resolutely implement the requirements of the Party Committee of HUTB and do all the works well.
In order to well organize this postgraduate qualifying examination, Vice President Liu Guoquan organized a work coordination meeting in advance, emphasized the main responsibility of the Graduate School, and further clarified the responsibilities of relevant departments such as Discipline Inspection Commission, Academic Affairs Division, Security Division, Assets Division, Logistics Division, Information and Network Center, Medical and Health Center, etc. All departments were required to support and cooperate with each other, and strictly implement all preparatory works according to the requirements of HUTB.
According to the arrangement of the coordination meeting, Graduate School organized the training meeting for examination invigilation and services in advance. In strict accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and for Hunan Postgraduate Entrance Examination and Epidemic Prevention and Control, the work plan of "scientific, planned, refined and procedural" has been formulated. In the severe cold weather, all the examination staff stuck to their posts and performed their duty, and all the participating organizations worked together to promote the implementation of the work, thus ensuring the safe and smooth development of the postgraduate qualifying examination in HUTB.
During the examination, a team led by Zuo Qing, a member of the Party Organization and Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Hunan Province, accompanied by President Huang Xin and Vice President Liu Guoquan, inspected the examination organization, examination style and discipline, epidemic prevention and control, and gave full affirmation.
It is reported that the number of candidates applying for master's degree in HUTB this year has reached more than 2,600, an increase of more than 70% compared with last year, reaching a record high, highlighting the rising social reputation and influence of postgraduate education in HUTB year by year, and also indicating that the leap-forward development of HUTB in recent years is attracting more outstanding candidates to apply for HUTB.
