HUTB Hosts the General Election of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies and the 2021 Academic Annual Meeting

On December 11, sponsored by Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies and hosted by HUTB, the General Election of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies and the 2021 Academic Annual Meeting were held in Changsha, and attended by the leaders, experts and scholars from more than 20 institutes including Hunan Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, Department of Civil Affairs of Hunan Province, National University of Defense Technology, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, Changsha University of Science and Technology and HUTB.
At the opening ceremony, Vice President Yi Mianyang gave a welcome speech. He extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the leaders, experts and scholars attending the meeting, and wished the annual meeting a complete success. Professor Ma Bojun from Hunan Normal University, President of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies, gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies, including its nature, historical evolution, articles of association, use of funds and the annual meeting.
General election reviewed and approved the work report of the 7th Council of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies and the Articles of Association of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies (Revised Draft), elected the directors and executive directors of the 8th Council of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies, as well as the president, vice president and secretary-general of the Council, and finally announced the list of honorary presidents and deputy secretaries-generals. Professor Liu Leshan from the School of Economy & Trade of HUTB was elected as the president.
Liu Ping, Division Director of the Hunan Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, and Zhang Zaixiang, Deputy Director of the Social Organization Administration of Department of Civil Affairs of Hunan Province, made speeches respectively, highly affirming the important value of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies, and putting forward clear requirements for the future work of the research institute. Professor Qiu Haiping of Renmin University of China, Professor Ding Renzhong of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Professor Ma Bojun of Hunan Normal University, Professor Yi Mianyang of HUTB, Associate Professor Wu Nan of Party School of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, and Professor Xiang Guocheng of HUTB have made academic keynote speeches.
At the closing ceremony, Professor Liu Leshan, President of Hunan Association for CAPITAL Studies, read out the list of winning papers of the annual meeting, summarized the annual meeting and delivered a closing speech. (Reported by Xi Ya and Xu Yuqiong, School of Economy & Trade)
