Students of HUTB Win the Special Prize of Hunan Division of the 4th "SFLEP" National Cross-cultural Competence Competition

On November 27, the finals of Hunan Division of the 4th "SFLEP" National Cross-cultural Competence Competition organized by Hunan Normal University and hosted by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press were held in Hunan Normal University. A total of 126 contestants from 42 universities in Hunan Province participated in the competition. After the fierce competition, a total of 12 teams entered the finals. The team composed of Li Jiaxuan, Xu Jiaqi and Xiao Tingdong from the School of Foreign Languages of our school won the special prize of Hunan division. Liang Xiao, Li Danqian and Mo Jiaojiao won the "Excellent Instructor Award".

National Cross-cultural Competence Competition pays attention to of contestants’ comprehensive language application ability, cross-cultural communication sensitivity and adaptability, and innovative ability to solve problems in multicultural situations, so as to cultivate the innovative cross-cultural communication talents with Chinese feelings and international vision for national sustainable development and international exchanges and cooperation.
