20 Students Win the Second "Excellent and Diligent" Academician Award Fund for Business Students

On the afternoon of November 29, 2021, the awarding ceremony of (the second) "Excellent and Diligent" Academician Award Fund for Business Students was held in Qiushi Academy, attended by Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, and Vice President Gan Dejian, and participated in by the heads of departments such as Student Affairs Department and Youth League Committee, student representatives of schools, award-winning students of Academician Award Fund and representatives of student cadres.
HUTB "Excellent and Diligent" Academician Award Fund for Business Students was established with donations from Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, aiming at encouraging our students to study hard, make positive progress, strive to become talents and serve the motherland. According to the Administrative Measures (Provisional) of HUTB "Excellent and Diligent” Academician Award Fund for Business Students, after the registration, preliminary examination and school review of secondary colleges, Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician conducted the final review, and finally selected 20 award-winning students from more than 400 applicants in the whole school. Among them, there are 4 "Excellent and Diligent" Excellence Awards, 5 "Excellent and Diligent" Inspirational Awards and 11 "Excellent and Diligent" Practice Awards, each of which is rewarded with 5,000 yuan.
Xia Qian and Zhang Lei, as representatives of award-winning students, took the stage to share their acceptance speeches and expressed their gratitude to HUTB and Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician. They said that they will live up to their training and expectations, and aspire to become talents to repay the society and HUTB. In the video, 20 award-winning students expressed their gratitude with sincere words.
Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician also prepared gift boxes for award-winning students. In the gift boxes, there are Nanmu bookmarks with the words "excellent", "diligent", "sassy" and "beautiful", and postcards with hand-painted campus scenery, which reflect the original intention of academicians to set up funds - to make excellence, diligence and civilization become habits.
Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, presented award certificates and gift boxes to 20 award-winning students one by one, expressing heartfelt congratulations to them. She encouraged the university students to become innovative, entrepreneurial, practical and compound talents with pursuit, goal, temperature, feelings, love, global vision, feelings of home and country, benevolence and professionalism, look at themselves with a normal heart, serve the society with enterprising spirit and serve the country with pure heart. Poverty is good for itself, while attainment is good for the world. You will help the world and help more people in need.
