On the afternoon of November 16, HUTB held a Promotion Meeting for Comprehensive and Strict Party Self-discipline and a Warning Education Meeting for Honest Party Style in the lecture hall on the third floor of Lingnan Innovation Center which was attended by Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, Huang Xin, Vice Party Secretary and President, Wang Minggao, Director of the Academic Committee, Xiao Xiaoqin, Vice Party Secretary, and other chief leaders and senior professors, participated in by all section-level cadres and presided over by President Huang Xin.
First of all, the participants watched the warning education film of honest Party style collectively.
Vice Presidents Liu Guoquan and Zhang Ling, and He Longde, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, respectively introduced the measures for building the faculty style, teaching style, study style and working style, and made arrangements for the next stage of work.
Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician made concluding remarks. She pointed out that the purpose of this meeting to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, review the work, analyze the situation, further promote the construction of working style of cadres, faculty style and studying style, create a good atmosphere of concentrating on development, and lead the promotion of high-quality development of HUTB.
She thought that since the first Party Congress, HUTB has continuously strengthened its political construction, ideological construction, organizational construction, style construction, discipline construction, system construction, ideological and political work, security and stability, and achieved remarkable results in strictly administering the Party. Meanwhile, there are still weak links and deficiencies in the implementation of strict Party administration, working style of cadres, faculty style and civilized accomplishment of students.
Secretary Chen Xiaohong deployed the key tasks in the next stage: First, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee; second, solidly promote the study and education of Party history; third, continue to strengthen the construction of working style of cadres, faculty style and studying style; fourth, carry out the construction of "clean campus" in depth; fifth, re-elect the secondary Party organizations and open a democratic life meeting at university and school levels; sixth, reward the superior and punish the inferior, manage the assessment, promote the implementation and improve the practical results; seventh, co-manage the responsibility and establish a strict joint force. Meanwhile, she asked all Party members and cadres to improve their political positions, take their responsibilities, strive to cultivate and enhance their skills, keep the bottom line, guard against risks, and earnestly perform their duties of strictly administering the Party.
