"It is the long-cherished wish of HUTB for many years to invite Xiangya famous doctors to the campus so that teachers and students can enjoy high-quality medical resources without leaving the campus." Dr. Wang Jian, head of infirmary, said. Under the overall arrangement of the Party Committee, infirmary actively communicates with the Third Xiangya Hospital, and HUTB has officially become a member unit of the medical consortium of the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, and the support of abundant medical resources from the Third Xiangya Hospital has accelerated the realization of "expert consultation". Since the end of September, the infirmary of HUTB has invited experts from different departments to provide consultation every Monday to Friday, such as Professor Zhou Jianda from Plastic Surgery Department, Professor Liu Zongdao from Respiratory Medicine Department, Professor Xie Huiqing from Rehabilitation Department, Professor Xiao Zhiming from Gastroenterology Department and Professor Li Guangcheng from Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, etc., so as to satisfy the medical needs of teachers and students.
"Regularly Expert Consultation" has been well received by teachers and students since its launch. "It is very convenient to make diagnosis and treatment on campus. It is more intimate for Xiangya famous doctors to diagnose in person. HUTB has done a practical and good thing for teachers and students." Teacher Ou, a retired faculty member, said with a smile.
