2021-11-10
For the purpose of implementing the spirit of the conference on COVID-19 prevention and control in the education system of the whole province and the conference on COVID-19 prevention and control in HUTB, two on-site drills on COVID-19 emergency response were conducted at infirmary and Cuiya Maker Academy on the afternoon of November 8. Vice President Yi Mianyang was present at the drill site to provide the guidance. Heads and staff of the Leading Group for COVID-19 Prevention and Control and some student representatives attended and observed the drills. The responsible persons of COVID-19 prevention and control in Wangchengpo Street and Laohuling Community were also invited to observe the drills.

The drills include two links, namely, assuming that the infirmary received fever cases and red code personnel were found on campus. In the first drill, assuming that when the infirmary tested the body temperature of the medical staff, a student's body temperature was as high as 38.6 degrees, the medical staff immediately asked him to wear a mask and arranged him to the temporary observation point at infirmary, and used mercury thermometer to measure the body temperature again and inquired about the relevant residence history and contact history. After re-measurement, the body temperature was still as high as 38.5 degrees. The person in charge of the infirmary quickly dialed 120 emergency number, and the ambulance took the fever student to the designated hospital to carry out nucleic acid testing. After the patient left, the medical staff recorded the relevant situation and informed the cleaning staff who did personal protection to disinfect and clean the temporary observation point.

Second, assuming that a student received a phone call from center for disease control, informing him that his health code has turned red due to close contact with a confirmed case, and asking him to cooperate with the implementation of relevant prevention and control measures. The student was studying in Cuiya Academy, and immediately reported the situation to the counselor of his class after receiving the notice. Counselor quickly reported the situation to the leading group of COVID-19 prevention and control in school and HUTB, and HUTB reported the situation to specialist of COVID-19 prevention and control in community. Immediately, the heads of relevant departments and COVID-19 prevention and control staff quickly arrived at Cuiya Maker Academy, blocked the scene, prepared materials, set up temporary command post for COVID-19 prevention and control, and immediately deployed the emergency response works.

The responsible persons and counselors of relevant school quickly got in touch with the students in the academy, timely passed on the requirements of COVID-19 prevention and control, and did a good job in guiding students. COVID-19 prevention and control staff with protective clothing entered the academy, verified the identity and health code of students with red code, and guided and assisted students to wear protective clothing. The person in charge of the infirmary quickly dialed 120 emergency number, and the ambulance transferred the red code student to the centralized isolation point designated by the government.

After the red code student left, COVID-19 prevention and control staff carried out nucleic acid testing and sampling for other personnel in Cuiya Maker Academy, and organized the on-site students and staff to wear masks, carry out disinfection and sterilization, and take a special car to the health monitoring place to carry out health monitoring for 14 days, and registered personnel information and reported to the specialist of COVID-19 prevention and control in community. Finally, COVID-19 prevention and control staff completely disinfected the indoor and outdoor of Cuiya Maker Academy and the buses that completed the transshipment.
After the drill, the leading group of COVID-19 prevention and control held a work summary meeting in the group training room of College Student Mental Health Education Center to comprehensively summarize the work effectiveness, shortcomings and improvement measures of this drill and further carry out the desktop drill under the guidance of COVID-19 Prevention and Control Headquarters of Yuelu District assuming that the field drill case was diagnosed as confirmed case.
In order to further improve the COVID-19 prevention and control, HUTB constantly improves the COVID-19 prevention and control mechanism. According to the principle of "unified command, divided responsibilities", all departments of HUTB will make "timely discovery, quick response, decisive disposal and effective response" in dealing with sudden COVID-19 event on campus, and make every effort to maintain the safety and stability of campus and effectively protect the safety and health of teachers and students.
