HUTB Holds a Series of Activities of "Art HUTB"

On November 6, a series of activities of "Art HUTB" were held in Lingnan Creative Corridor. Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, in the accompany of the heads of School of Art & Design, School of Music and other departments, enjoyed the performance of "Heart Music" Salon and visited the exhibition of "Rong", together with teachers and students. Guests from colleges and universities who attended the 8th Forum of Deans (Department Heads) of Art Disciplines in Hunan Universities were invited to attend.
Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, visited the Exhibition of "Rong" together with teachers and students. Secretary Chen Xiaohong carefully appreciated all kinds of paintings, designs, ceramics, sculptures, clothing, accessories, digital media and other works displayed in the exhibition, inquired about the creative ideas, concepts and methods of some works, and spoke highly of these excellent works. She also cordially sympathized with the teachers and students who created the works, learned about their work, study and life, and encouraged them to study artistic skills, enhance their creative ability and strive to produce more good works.
In the first performance of "Heart Music" Salon, young saxophone artist Dr. Wang Long, Ukrainian young piano artist Dalina and Korean young cello artist Zheng Xin’ai performed wonderful instrumental music programs together. The audience was deeply attracted by the fresh, melodious, beautiful, lyrical, elegant and delicate music played by artists, and couldn't help reveling in it, and earnestly realized the infinite charm of music art.
In the performance space at the exit of Creative Corridor, teachers and students enjoyed the second performance of "Heart Music" Salon. The outstanding students of the School of Music sang with vocal music works that won awards at or above the provincial level, showing the audience the professional standards, excellent qualities and self-confidence of the music students of HUTB. The songs were beautiful and touching, and won warm applause from the audience.
A Series of Activities of "Art HUTB" are special cultural and artistic activities organized by HUTB with the aim to actively create the cultural and artistic atmosphere on campus under the advocacy of Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician. Activities will be carried out from time to time to provide teachers and students with high-level and high-quality artistic experience, so as to enhance their aesthetic quality, enrich their spiritual life, guide them to cultivate optimistic, positive and upward healthy mood, and make greater contributions to the construction and development of HUTB during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
