HUTB Holds a Special Meeting on COVID-19 Prevention and Control

On the afternoon of November 5, HUTB held a special meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control in Conference Room 301 in No.2 Office Building, and made relative arrangements for the further normalized epidemic prevention and control. All members of the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Leading Group and the heads of schools attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, everyone attended the online special training meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control held by the Hunan Department of Education. Zuo Qing, a member of the Party organization, Deputy Director of Department of Educationof Hunan Provinceand a member of the Education Commission of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech, stressing that we shall be deeply knowledgeable of the situation, build a firm bottom-line thinking, comply with the standards and tables, fill the loopholes, make clear the responsibilities and strengthen the implementation. Comrade He Zhao from the Department of Educationof Hunan Provincegave training and explanation on the current situation of COVID-19 prevention and control, the requirements of normalized COVID-19 prevention and control, emergency response and COVID-19 prevention and control of mass activities.
After the training, HUTB immediately arranged and deployed the topics of further normalized prevention and control. Vice Presidents Gan Dejian and Yi Mianyang respectively made specific arrangements for related works.
President Huang Xin asked all schools to further enhance their awareness of crisis, politics, responsibility and implementation, always tighten a string in COVID-19 prevention and control, and take the fight against COVID-19 as the biggest political task at present. All schools shall be responsible and conscientious in defending the epidemic, timely convey and implement the spirit of this training meeting, formulate the prevention and control plan as soon as possible, and put the responsibility to people.
Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, pointed out that the Party Committee of HUTB has always attached great importance to COVID-19 prevention and control, and provided comprehensive protection from manpower, funds and materials. Thanks to the joint efforts of teachers and students in the whole university, the prevention and control in the previous stage in HUTB has achieved good results, ensuring the safety of teachers and students and the stability of the campus. In response to the next stage of work, she stressed that first, we shall always pay close attention to COVID-19 prevention and control, and shall not have any paralysis, weariness, fluke mind and relaxation. Leading cadres at all levels shall go deep into the front line, command near the front and consolidate the responsibility; Second, we shall resolutely implement the normalized COVID-19 prevention and control measures, strengthen the access management, and strictly implement the "zero report", "daily report" and travel report systems; third, we shall conduct the risk investigation and timely disposal as required, strengthen the management of clustered activities, and advocate the online activities; fourth, we shall strengthen personal prevention and control, and further guide teachers and students to develop the good habit of "washing hands and ventilating frequently and wearing masks". She encouraged the COVID-19 prevention and control team to be further knowledgeable of the essentials of prevention and control through professional training, be serious and careful in their work, protect the safety and stability of the campus with a high sense of responsibility, and make concerted efforts to win the battle of COVID-19 prevention and control.
