Book Restaurant Opened Officially

On the morning of September 10, Book Restaurant was officially inaugurated in Lingnan Campus. HUTB Party Secretary and CAE Academician Chen Xiaohong, Senior Professor Wang Minggao, Vice President Yi Mianyang, Member of HUTB Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department Chen Ming attended the ceremony. Leaders of relevant secondary institutions and some representatives of teachers and students were present. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Yi Mianyang.
Chen Xiaohong and student representatives inaugurated the restaurant jointly.
Chen Xiaohong pointed out in her speech that in recent years, as the university vigorously promotes infrastructure construction, the style and cultural atmosphere in the campus have been largely improved. A number of modern academies and bookbars have been built, such as Xiande Academy, Cuiya Academy, momo Bookbar, Creativity Workshop, Chufeng Academy, Qiushi Academy, Wenjin Bookbar, Qiuzhen Academy and so forth, creating a high-quality, good-taste learning and living space for teachers and students as internet-famous sites. The "Happiness and Safety" program proposed at the first Party congress has been well implemented.
On behalf of HUTB, Chen Xiaohong extended warm congratulations on the opening of Book Restaurant, and hoped that it would uphold the service philosophy of "all for teachers and students, for all teachers and students, for teachers and students of all" to let them enjoy relaxed and pleasant catering services in a thick atmosphere of literature. She also hoped that teachers and students could share HUTB's achievements and make HUTB better and happier. On the 37th Teachers' Day, she wished all teachers a happy holiday and hoped that they would focus on the country's top priorities, set fine examples for the students and nurtureall-round patriotic, responsible and professional socialist builders and successors.
Book Restaurant is located in the north-south of No. 4 canteen in Lingnan Campus, divided into two floors covering a total area of more than 480m2 and equipped with halls, booths and boxes. It has introduced some premium coffee and tea brands such as Glory and CHALI, with a professional chef and service management team providing coffee, tea, Western pastry, dessert, light food and Western food, etc. It can provide buffets, buffet party and other catering services during international/domestic academic and cultural exchanges and other activities. Its economical, green and healthy catering service mode with HUTB characteristics has set a trend for campus catering service in Hunan Province and even the whole country.
