On the afternoon of September 4, Chen Xiaohong, HUTB Party Secretary and CAE Academician, led the leaders of the Party Committee Office and Principal Office, Academician Office, Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies and School ofComputer Science & Information Engineering to Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd ("Sunward") to learn about the efforts and achievements made by Sunward in the vigorous implementation of "Three Highlands, Four New Missions" strategy in Hunan and in its high-quality development, accompanied by Sunward Chairman He Qinghua and Vice General Manager Zhu Jianxin.
First of all, Chen Xiaohong and her team visited the exhibition hall of the new office building, basic equipment debugging area, mining equipment workshop and special equipment workshop in Sunward Industry City, watched the company's promotional video and product introduction, and learned about the founding history, development status and future goals of Sunward.
At the following symposium, Chairman He Qinghua extended a warm welcome to Chen Xiaohong. He briefly introduced Sunward's founding history and achievements. Sunward was founded in 1999 by He Qinghua with RMB500,000, started with a revolutionary innovative product - hydraulic static pile driver. After years of hard work and continuous innovation, it has developed comprehensively in three fields, i.e. engineering equipment, special equipment and aviation equipment, becoming one of the leading enterprises in underground engineering equipment in China and one of the Top 50 construction machinery manufacturers in the world. In September 2020, General Secretary Xi Jinping gave an important speech during his inspection of Sunward, in which he spoke highly of Sunward's innovative spirit and achievements, greatly inspiring Sunward staff to work hard, take responsibility and strive for progress. Finally, He Qinghua spoke highly of HUTB's achievements in scientific research, talent training, social service and cultural construction, and looked forward to the strong support of HUTB and academician team in sci-tech innovation, talent training and management training.

She said that under the guidance of strategic goals of the 14th Five-Year Plan, HUTB has been developing rapidly. Admission scores have been rising year after year, and the employment rate of graduates has been in the forefront among Hunan colleges and universities for many years.
