HUTB Organizes AFC-CFA Class C and Class D Coach Training Class 2021

In July, the AFC-CFA Class C and Class D Coach Training Class 2021, hosted by the Federation of University Sports of China and organized by HUTB, was opened in the School of Sports and Health of HUTB, for the purpose of promoting the development of campus football, improving the training level and teaching ability of grass-roots football coaches, and fostering campus football culture in HUTB. The opening ceremony was attended by Zhang Yu, Deputy Director of Hunan Football Coach Committee, heads of the School of Sports and Health and football games, and trainees.

The training class is divided into two phases, with 24 trainees attending each phase. The first phase is class C coach training class. It is the first time for a university of Hunan province to hold the class C coach training class. The training class is scheduled to last 13 days, with Yuan Wei, class A coach of AFC, acting as the supervisor, and Liu Nian, class A coach of CFA, acting as the lecturer. The second phase is class D coach training class, which is scheduled to last 7 days, with Bu Yifeng, member of the Coach Committee of the Federation of University Sports of China, acting as the supervisor, and Fan Zhi, class A coach of CFA, acting as the lecturer.

The training class covers the basic principles of training, basic tactics of games, technique and skill. Moreover, through a series of heuristic and exploratory teaching modes, the training class provides new ideas, broadens horizon, and combines theory and practice, which enables coaches to gain a deep understanding of football. Through the training, the teaching level and ability of coaches are effectively enhanced, which will be conducive to the healthy development of campus football.
