Vice President Zhang Ling Leads Delegation to Learn from Tsinghua University’s Experience in Smart Health Management

On the morning of July 14, a delegationled by Vice President Zhang Lingand composed of heads of the Academic Affairs Division and the School of Sports and Health paid a survey visit to the Research Center of Physical Education and Health Science and the Smart Health Management Institute of Tsinghua University, with the purpose of learning from Tsinghua University’s advanced concept in smart health management, accumulating experience and practice in the areas of universal health management and health promotion, and further sorting out the idea and countermeasure of promoting construction of laboratory platform with smart health.
At the Research Center of Physical Education and Health Scienceof Tsinghua University, Deputy Director Wang Wei briefed the survey group on the center’s concept, experience and achievements in health management, and comprehensively introduced the self-developed smart health management eco-system featuring the integration of “assessment+intervention+big data+cloud platform+APP”. After the meeting, Wang Bingdong, Assistant Director of the Research Center of Physical Education and Health Science, led the survey group to have an on-site experience of the rapid noninvasive health risk screening instrument at the center. The survey group also visited the smart health management laboratory at Tsinghua University’s guiding center of smart health management in Dahuashan town. By introducing one-stop smart health management system, the guiding center employs new technologies such as big data, Internet, cloud computation and artificial intelligence to conduct grid management of local people’s health, in order to accelerate the implementation of Healthy China Initiative.
Vice President Zhang Ling said that the university will actively respond to the state’s major demands, learn from Tsinghua University’s advanced concept in smart health management, conduct further discussions around smart health management and service system, proactively declare and make the “health service and management” discipline a success, fulfill the functions of scientific research, talent training and social service, contribute to realizing the goal of “Three Progresses, Three Highlands”, and provide new impetus for development of health industry with regional characteristics.
