Delegation Led by Li Jinchang, Party Secretary of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, Pays Tour to HUTB for Investigation

On the afternoon of July 12, a delegation consisting of Li Jinchang, Party Secretary of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics and Deputy Director of the Steering Committee on the Teaching of Economics of the Ministry of Education, and Luo Liangqing, senior professor of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and member of the Steering Committee on the Teaching of Economics of the Ministry of Education, paid an investigationtour to HUTB. The meeting was attended by Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and Academician, Vice Party Secretary Xiao Xiaoqin, and Vice President Yi Mianyang. The heads of the the Party Committee Office and Principal Office and the School of Economy & Trade participated in the meeting.
The meeting was held in Conference Room 1211 in Economic Management Complex. At the meeting, Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and Academician, introduced the teaching history of HUTB and recent achievements such as realization of the strategy goal of “Three Rises” and successful transformation of independent schools. She said that both universities share similar teaching foundation and conditions, and expressed the hope for both sides to strengthen exchanges and cooperation for common development.
Secretary Li Jinchang introduced the teaching history of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics and the basic situation of teaching in terms of faculties, discipline and degree program. He said that Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics will strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with HUTB, and learn from HUTB’s experience in teaching. He also expressed the hope for both universities to achieve new development and progress during the 14thFive-Year Plan period.
After the meeting, the participants had exchanges and discussions on such topics as the construction of “Double First-class” Initiative, transformation of independent schools and talent introduction.
