HUTB Holds an Exhibition of Teachers' and Students' Calligraphy, Painting & Photography Works to Celebrate the Centenary of CPC

on the morning of June 30, HUTB held an exhibition of teachers' and students' calligraphy, painting & photography works in Lingnan Creativity Workshop in order to pay tribute to the centenary of CPC, attended by Gan Dejian, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of HUTB. Leaders of Party Committee Student Affairs Department, School of Art & Design, Labour Union and Retirement Division, etc., as well as some representatives of retired comrades, teachers and students attended the opening ceremony and watched the exhibition. The opening ceremony was presided over by Tang Xiaoqin, Head of Party Committee Student Affairs Department.


At the opening ceremony, the leader of School of Art & Design introduced the selection and arrangement of the works exhibited; leader of Labour Union announced the winning in-service teachers; leader of Retirement Division announced the winning retired teachers; and leader of Administrative Department Party Committee announced the winning students.
Vice President Gan Dejian delivered a speech. He pointed out that this exhibition fully reflected the love and gratitude of our teachers and students to the Party. He hoped that more and more teachers and students pay attention to the art and walk into the exhibition hall to learn the Party history through watching excellent works, thereby stand firm in their ideals and convictions, and cultivate humanistic qualities.





It's learned that a total of more than 320 works were collected for this exhibition, covering painting, calligraphy and photography. 298 ones were selected and 65 ones won the award. The exhibition was directed and supported by He Jishan and Liu He, CAE Academicians, Yan Fuchu, Vice President of China Calligraphers Association, and Zhu Xunde, President of Hunan Artists Association. In the meantime, an exhibition of works by famous artists was held at Buduotang Art Gallery.
