HUTB Signs a Strategic Industry-University-Research Cooperation Agreement with Findata Research Center of the National Engineering Laboratory

In order to actively build an industry-university-research cooperation mechanism and help Hunan implement the strategy of "Three Highlands and Four New Missions", the first seminar on the integration and development of industry-university-research digital technology in smart finance was held in the Findata Research Center of the National Engineering Laboratory on June 22. Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician, Yi Mianyang, Vice President, and the representatives of teachers from Scientific Research Administration Division, Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies and other organizations were invited to attend the meeting and conduct the in-depth discussions.
"The digital economy era is welcoming a new round of scientific and technological revolution with digitalization as the core, and economic and social production methods are facing the profound changes." In the keynote speech entitled "Frontier Trends and Application Exploration of Smart Financial Supervision", Academician Chen Xiaohong elaborated on the frontier trends and application practices of smart financial supervision in the digital economy era. Academician Chen said that against the background of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution, new generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, blockchain and Internet of Things are deeply integrated with financial business, which has stimulated the continuous innovation of financial ecology. At the same time, persisting in the innovation-driven development, accelerating the strategic deployment of financial technology and strengthening the data security protection have become the inherent demands and important choices for deepening the structural reform of financial supply side, enhancing the ability of finance serving the real economy, and laying a solid foundation for preventing and defusing the financial risks. In addition, she proposed that while carrying out innovative application of financial science and technology, it is necessary to pay more attention to the requirements of high standards, high security and high quality of data production factors, and to establish a systematic protection scheme for data sharing security in mobile scenarios, promoting the legal, compliant and safe circulation of financial big data.
At the event, Vice President Yi Mianyang, on behalf of HUTB, signed a strategic industry-university-research cooperation agreement with the Findata Research Center of the National Engineering Laboratory. Both sides will carry out the all-round, diversified and in-depth cooperation on promoting R&D and application related to big data in the financial field and building a regional credit system, and create a model of in-depth cooperation of "industry, university, research and user", so as to promote finance to better serve the regional real economy and promote the healthy and orderly development of Inclusive Finance. According to the agreement, both sides jointly set up "Joint Laboratory of Xiangjiang Multi-party Security Computing", and establish a joint R&D team to study how to avoid the leakage of sensitive information of data elements, privacy and other related issues. Based on the feasible execution environment, federated learning, multi-party computing and other technologies, both sides strive to build a safe sharing platform of financial big data, promote the development of big data security and compliance, develop the multi-party security computing products suitable for financial technology scenarios and carry out the application demonstration.
Finally, HUTB, in conjunction with Central South University, shared the academician team’s latest research result "Hope Multi-party Big Data Security Sharing Technology" in the field of digital element sharing security in smart society and released a white paper of product, providing comprehensive solutions for financial and governmental data circulation and security sharing and privacy protection for government and enterprise customers.
