Theoretical Study Center Group (Expanded) of HUTB Party Committee Went to Shaoshan to Carry out Party History Study and Education

In order to carry out the "Party History Study" campaign, promote the booming of Party history study and education, and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with full spirit, the Study Center Group (Expanded) of HUTB Party Committee, under the guidance of Chen Xiaohong, HUTB Party Secretary and CAE Academician, went to Shaoshan on the afternoon of June 22 to carry out experiential Party history study and education. All HUTB leaders, members of the Party Committee, Secretary of Shaoshan CPC Committee Tang Jie, department heads of Shaoshan Education Bureau and main leaders of HUTB secondary units, attended the activity.
At Shaoshan Mao Zedong Square surrounded by green pines and verdant cypresses, the trees made a pleasant shade and the red flags were fluttering gaily in the wind. Visitors from all over the country came in an endless stream. All persons of our university dressed in uniform T-shirts printed with "celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC", lined up orderly and followed the concierges carrying flower baskets slowly to the tribute zone to present flower baskets to the bronze statue of Mao Zedong. Chen Xiaohong, on behalf of all the teachers and students of HUTB, came forward to carefully tidy up the red ribbons on the flower baskets. All persons bowed three times to the bronze statue of Mao Zedong and walked around it to express their deepest condolences and infinite admiration. Then, Chen Xiaohong led all Party members and cadres facing the bright red Party flag, raising their right fists and reviewing the Party admission oath. The sonorous oath echoed through the square, and everyone made a solemn commitment to the Party once again, making clear that they will staying true to the original aspiration and always follow the Party.
Under the guidance of the commentator, all persons came to the Life Story Area and Themed Exhibition Area in Mao Zedong Memorial Museum. In the Life Story Area, they viewed the theme exhibition "Mao Zedong, China", which is divided into six parts, namely, "aspire to save the country and the people", "participate in Party building and lead the workers and peasants movement", "open up a new road for Chinese revolution", "strive for the great victory of the people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression", "realize the first leap of sinicization of Marxism", and "win the victory in the war of liberation". Through the real objects, pictures and videos, the exhibition comprehensively displays Mao Zedong's magnificent life and the arduous course of Chinese revolution. Mao Zedong's great achievements, outstanding thoughts and noble style will always inspire the CPC and the people of all ethnic groups to unite as one and forge ahead bravely. In Themed Exhibition Area, they viewed the Forever Memory - Mao Zedong Relics Exhibition, which is divided into four parts, namely, "perform duties diligently for the people", "be hardworking, plain-living, honest and upright", "persist in study with untiring vigour", and "be just and fair". More than 1,000 relics are displayed, covering all aspects of Mao Zedong's governance and daily life, showing the rich and colorful life picture of a great man, recalling his pursuit of national salvation and rejuvenation, and manifesting his noble qualities including hard-working, plain living, selfless dedication, and sharing sorrow and happiness of the people. Through the visit, everyone was impressed by Mao Zedong's noble style, his firm belief in Marxism and persistent pursuit of communism, reminisced about the great hardships of revolutionary predecessors in opening up the road for governance of China by CPC, and said that they will further study the Party history, stay true to the original aspiration and mission, and draw strength from the history to forge ahead.
Finally, Chen Xiaohong made a summary of the activity. She pointed out that at the approaching centenary of the Party, we came to Shaoshan to carry out experiential Party history study and education activities, through which we recalled Chairman Mao's great achievements, appreciated his selfless dedication and deeply understood the revolutionary spirit and struggling spirit that "our minds grow stronger for the martyrs' sacrifice, daring to make the sun and the moon shine in the new sky". She stressed that Party history study and education has entered the stage of study and practice. We should study and implement the spirits of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, fully realize that practice is the ultimate goal of keeping reasonable, strengthening the belief and respecting the morality, and also the standard for testing the effect of Party history study and education. She requested that all Party members and cadres should, under the guidance of spirit of the first Party congress of HUTB, focusing on two priorities, namely "studying the Party's history, understanding its theories, doing practical work and making new advances" and "strengthening workstyleconstruction, changing study style, improving quality and seeking innovation", vigorously carry out the activity "doing practical work for teachers and students" and thoroughly implement a series of system documents issued by HUTB recently, so as to lead HUTB to create a better future and pay tribute to the CPC centennial with outstanding achievements.
