On the morning of June 17, a delegation led by Chen Yumin, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd. (SD-Gold) visited HUTB for investigation and exchange. The meeting was attended by Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary of HUTB and CAE Academician, and participated in by the representatives of Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies (Institute of Big Data and Internet Innovation) and team members of Academician Chen Xiaohong. The exchange symposium was held in Conference Room 1211 of Economic Management Complex.
Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary of HUTB, showed a warm welcome to the delegation led by Chen Yumin, Secretary of SD-Gold. She elaborated on the development of HUTB in recent years, as well as the policy suggestions submitted by the interdisciplinary scientific research team in the aspects of smart society construction, digital economy development, big data and intelligent decision-making, intelligent management of resources and environment, etc., and the application results of scientific research projects and outputs, and she expressed the hope that both sides will strengthen the in-depth cooperation of production, education and research, give full play to their respective advantages, focus on the construction of "smart mines and ecological mining", use science and technology and wisdom to make the mining industry develop intelligently and efficiently based on the goal of "emission peak and carbon neutrality", and make new and greater contributions to comprehensively improving the efficient and green development and utilization of mineral resources in China.
Secretary Chen Yumin described the phased achievements of SD-Gold on the road of green intelligence development, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by SD-Gold at present. He pointed out that SD-Gold has been carrying out the informatization and digital transformation in recent years, and its mines have achieved the construction goal of "the mines without tailings and wastes", and 5G technology has been practically applied in mines. He expressed the desire of SD-Gold to carry out in-depth cooperation with Academician Chen Xiaohong and HUTB, hoping to get support in smart mine management and ecological environment security, and said that he would provide services for the combination involving production, teaching and research and the transformation of achievements, and better promote the high-quality development of enterprises through scientific and technological innovation. At the same time, he hoped that Academician Chen Xiaohong will give in-depth guidance to the work of SD-Gold.
Participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions on realizing all-round and in-depth cooperation between university and enterprise, jointly training the mining science and technology teams, sharing the cutting-edge mining technologies, and jointly tackling the mining problems.
It is reported that Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd has taken the lead in green development by attaching great importance to scientific and technological innovation in recent years, proposed and completed the "world-class demonstration mine" in the industry, promoted the rapid development of "smart mine" and "ecological mining", and was named "China Green Mining Group in 2020".
