Teacher of HUTB wins the Special Prize in Hunan Division of the 12th SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest

From June 18 to 20, the final in Hunan Division of the 12th SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest was held, and this final was sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee for Foreign language and Literature Specialty in Colleges and Universities of Hunan Province and Shanghai International Studies University, and undertaken by the School of Foreign Languages of Central South University and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. Liang Xiao, a teacher from the School of Foreign Languages of HUTB, won the special prize in Hunan Division.

The contestants in the final of Hunan Division are excellent foreign language teachers selected and recommended by major colleges and universities in the province. Upon two days of fierce competition, Mrs. Liang Xiao won the special prize of the Division in the Business English Group with her solid language skills and wonderful teaching design. Mrs. Liang will represent Hunan Province in the national final to be held in Shanghai in December.
SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest was founded in 2010, and co-sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee for Foreign Language and Literature Majors in Colleges of the Ministry of Education, the Steering Committee of Foreign Language Teaching in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. It is the largest, highest-level and most influential national foreign language teaching contest held in China so far. The competition ranks first in the foreign language teaching competitions in the Analysis Report of National Colleges Teaching Contests (2012-2020) issued by China Association of Higher Education.
