Leaders from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hunan Province and Huaihua University Visit HUTB

On the morning of May 27, Xie Guohe, the second-level researcher from the Science and Technology Education Division of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Deng Xiangqi, the first-level chief clerk, Liu Wang, Party Secretary of Huaihua University, and He Dajiang, Vice President, visited HUTB. The meeting was attended by President Huang Xin and Vice President Zhang Ling. Heads of Scientific Research Administration Division, Academic Affairs Division and School of Finance and presided over by Vice President Zhang Ling.
The exchange symposium was held in Conference Room 702 in the No.2 Office Building. At the meeting, President Huang Xin welcomed the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Huaihua University on behalf of HUTB and Chen Xiaohong, Party Secretary and CAE Academician. He introduced the teaching staff, discipline construction and scientific research, the successful convening of Party Congress, the goal of "Three Upgrades and Three Highs" proposed on the Congress and the vision of building an innovative first-class technology and business university with distinctive characteristics, and expressed the hope of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs strengthening its guidance and support to HUTB, and further promoting the cooperation with Huaihua University to advance the win-win cooperation between the two universities.
Secretary Liu Wang thanked HUTB for its warm reception. He introduced the development status of fruit industry in Huaihua City and the construction foundation of Fruit Modern Industry College of Huaihua University, and expressed the hope of strengthening the cooperation with HUTB, integrating the emerging information technology with the development of fruit industry, carrying out the technological innovation in fruit e-commerce sales so as to make Huaihua fruit industry bigger and stronger, and promoting the rural revitalization to make greater contributions to serving the local economic development.
Researcher Xie Guohe thanked both universities for their concern and participation in the agricultural and rural work in Hunan Province on behalf of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He conveyed the reply from his superiors to the proposal to build a modern fruit industry college put forward by the Vice President Zhang Ling as a representative of the Provincial People's Congress, and conveyed the guiding opinions of relevant departments, saying that he would fully absorb the opinions and suggestions of both universities and bring them back for further study.
Participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the foundation and conditions of fruit industry, the positioning and construction of scientific research platform, major construction and personnel training, financial policies and support, the construction of e-commerce platform, and the docking of advantageous disciplines between the two universities.
After the meeting, the leaders also visited Chufeng Academy and spoke highly of the infrastructure and campus culture construction of HUTB.
