Cultural and Creative Store of HUTB Officially Opened

Cultural and creative store was officially opened on March 15. The simultaneous opening of the main store of Lingnan Creative Culture Center, branch of Chufeng Academy, branch of North Campus Wenjin Bookbar and online shopping mall marked the official launch of one of the important carriers for a new media cultural and creative platform in the context of digital economy. Cultural and creative store covers a total area of about 300 m2, integrating the design, R&D, display, sales and comprehensive experience, and combining the online and offline modes.

Three offline branches received more than 500 teachers and students, and the online mall was visited by more than 300 times on the opening day. Chen Xiaohong, HUTB President and CAE Academician, Vice Presidents Li Dingjun and Liu Guoquan visited the site for guidance. President Chen completed the first transaction online, and fully affirmed the exploration and practical works of cultural and creative platform in terms of product development, school-enterprise cooperation, platform economy, etc., and encouraged the cultural and creative store to deeply explore the historical heritage, cultural accumulation and academic temperament of HUTB, highly integrate the new generation of information technology, gather the young students who love cultural and creative design, enhance the design vitality, promote the concept creation and the design implementation, further enhance the school-enterprise cooperation, extend the cultural and creative industry chain, and make positive contributions to stimulate the innovation enthusiasm of teachers and students, spread the excellent culture of HUTB and accelerate the integration into the strategy of "Three Highlands and Four New Missions".

As the winning bidder for the development of cultural and creative products of HUTB, Hunan Tianhe Art Communication Co., Ltd. created a cultural and creative store in cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Education and Practical Teaching Center and the School of Art & Design at the end of 2020. Based on the theme of "I LOVE HUTB" and the popular red and blue fashion graphic design, the featured series of first batch consist of the cultural and creative products needed by college students for the study with the lively style, bright colors and practical functions.
