HUTB Convened Work Conference on Regular Epidemic Prevention and Control

On the morning of December 8, to implement the spirit of the Notice of the Department of Education of Hunan Province on Earnestly Implementing Several Measures Adopted by the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Leading Group of Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China to Effectively Implement Regular Epidemic Prevention and Control(XJT [2020]No. 293), HUTB convened a work conference on regular epidemic prevention and control in the Conference Room 401 of No.2Office Building. The event was attended by Party Secretary Tang Yayang, Vice President Peng Jinqing, Vice President Liu Guoquan and officials from units related to the HUTB epidemic prevention and control leading group.
At the conference, officials from relevant units elaborated on problems in respective epidemic prevention and control and measures they adopt to solve them.
Secretary Tang Yayang pointed out that with the pandemic continuing to spread overseas and domestic authorities reporting several confirmed cases, the situation of epidemic prevention and control remains severe, which bring enormous pressure on HUTB’s efforts to prevent import of cases and resurgence of infections. He requested various schools to take seriously and do a good job of regular epidemic prevention and control in our campus. First, bearing in mind the urgency of epidemic prevention and control, we should improve systems and measures to prevent import of cases and resurgence of infections, and avoid being sluggish in ideology, mechanism construction and team building. Third, we should comprehensively implement the work requirements of Hunan Provincial Committee of CPC with regard to epidemic prevention and control, and earnestly maintain the safety and stability of our campus. Third, we should take rigorous measures to identify problems in regular epidemic prevention and control in strict compliance with the superior department’s work standard for epidemic prevention and control, and adopt feasible measures to rectify them as soon as possible.(Reported by Li Cheng from Logistics Service Division)
