HUTB Undertakes Hunan Provincial Economic and Trade Supply and Demand Meeting for College Graduates of Class 2021 & HUTB O2O Job Fair for College Graduates of Class 2021

On November 27, Hunan Provincial Economic and Trade Supply and Demand Meeting for College Graduates of Class 2021 & HUTB O2O Job Fair for College Graduates of Class 2021, hosted by the Department of Education of Hunan Province and undertaken by HUTB, was held in HUTB’s stadium. More than 230 famous enterprises, including Yili Group, Zoomlion, Broad Homes, Better Life Group and Geely attended the event. More than 240 enterprises attended the online job fair. A total of more than 24,000 jobs were created, covering 43 majors of HUTB.

 

Xia Xuejun, Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Higher Education Student Information and Career Center, Tang Yayang, HUTB Party Secretary, and Zeng Fuqiu, HUTB Vice President, conducted inspection and guidance on the site, extended greeting to the representatives of participating enterprises, enquired into the demand for talents, and had a cordial talk with job applicants.

 

The job fair proceeded in an orderly manner. More than 3,000 graduates from HUTB and beyond submitted their carefully prepared resumes to enterprises, and proactively introduced themselves in a bid to find a suitable job. The event also attracted many students of junior grades, who hoped to feel the atmosphere and learn about job requirements and career prospects so as to prepare their career plans in advance.

 

The vast majority of the participating enterprises agreed that good professionalism and high quality enabled HUTB graduates to meet their urgent need. “HUTB students have solid foundation, rich practical experience and positive attitude towards employment. I hope they will find a suitable job,” said Qi Jianwen, Network Freight Manager of TBEA Hunan International Logistics Technology Co., Ltd. “The students’ attitude and comprehensive quality deserve acclaim. We have received more than 20 resumes. 8 students passed the first trial. Going forward, we will invite them to attend the telephone interview,” said Qin Haohan, Employment and Training Director of Shenzhen Qianhai Road Sales Department of China Merchants Securities Co. Ltd. (CMS).

 

By hosting this job fair, HUTB aims to promote the targeted career service mode of “Internet+” for college students in order to innovate career service. HUTB and Talent Career Social Security Information Newspaper (Zhongrenshe Media) jointly launched an online live broadcast event titled “Enterprise HR Directors Introduce Posts to College Graduates Majoring Commerce and Trade”, during which 12 college graduates selected by various schools introduced their resume and career intention. At the same time, HR directors from 6 enterprises including Wujo Light Industry & Chemical Group Co., Ltd. and Hunan Chayue Catering Management Co., Ltd. introduced job requirements and salary as live broadcast anchors, and invited job applicants to click links in the live broadcast room, call the recruitment number and submit resume. Moreover, Tan Jianming and Tan Hui, both provincial career coaches of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Hunan Province also joined the event, and answered questions about career and conducted employment guidance via a video link.

 


It is learned that for the purpose of ensuring the college graduates of Class 2021 find suitable jobs, HUTB will continue organizing more face-to-face job fairs. Besides organizing a double-choice job fair on the afternoon of every Tuesday, HUTB will work various schools to organize a special double-choice job fair to facilitate the smooth employment of college graduates; do more to develop the job market, and attract more quality enterprises to attend the university’s job fair; extensively disseminate information about public examinations such as national and provincial civil servant examinations, grassroots program, selected graduates program and postgraduate entrance examination, and update college graduates on latest information about various examinations; provide targeted assistance for college graduates who have difficulty in finding a job, so that they can have a better future.
