HUTB Party Secretary Tang Yayang Leads a Delegation to Inspect Grass-roots Party Building Work of Wangchengpo Subdistrict

On the afternoon of November 26, HUTB Party Secretary Tang Yayang led a delegation to inspect the grass-roots party building work of Wangchengpo Subdistrict. Delegates include officials from the Organization Department, the Student Affairs Department and the Security Department of the Party Committee, the School of Marxism Studies, the Youth League Committee and relevant schools.
The delegation led by Party Secretary Tang Yayang first paid field visits to Jiantang community and Nantang community under the jurisdiction of Wangchengpo Subdistrict. The delegation, accompanied by Xiao Jian,Secretary of the Working Committee of Wangchengpo Subdistrict and officials of Jiantang community and Nantang community, visited the service halls, party building exhibition halls, activity rooms and conference rooms of the two communities, and conducted a comprehensive and in-depth survey on the party building work of the communities.
After the survey, a symposium on the grass-roots party building work was held in the grid scheduling conference room of Wangchengpo Subdistrict. The event was attended by the delegation and officials from the Working Committee, the Office, the Grass-roots Party Building Office, the Grid Comprehensive Service Center and 10 communities under the jurisdiction of Wangchengpo Subdistrict.
At the symposium, the head of the Grid Comprehensive Service Center of Wangchengpo Subdistrict elaborated on the grid work of the subdistrict. Officials of Changhua community and Zhumatang community talked about the overall conditions of the communities and the implementation of party building work. Both sides had a discussion on the topics of party building pair, characteristics of joint party building, main time nodes and implementation of tasks.
Secretary Xiao Jian thanked HUTB for its strong support for the party building work of Wangchengpo Subdistrict in recent years. He raised three requirements for the subdistrict and communities to further implement the grass-roots party building work: first, attach high importance to party building work, and put party building work first among political tasks; second, earnestly implement party building work, take party building work as the Secretary’s main responsibility, use regional party building work as a platform to carry out party building work, and proactively draw lessons from the successful practices and experience from other subdistricts; third, give full play to the exemplary role of Party members and Party branch’s role as a fighting bastion, encourage the subdistrict and communities to improve economic and social development with high-quality party building work, and pay tribute to the 100thanniversary of the Communist Party of China with excellent results.
Party Secretary Tang Yayang commended Wangchengpo Subdistrict’s leading role in party building work, significant innovation results, strong awareness of service, dense cultural atmosphere and compassion. He said that it has achieved a series of excellent results that deserve recognition. As the party building consultant for the Working Committee of Wangchengpo Subdistrict, he put forward six requirements for HUTB and Wangchengpo Subdistrict to carry out regional party building work going forward: first, guide and promote the high-quality development of the causes of HUTB and the subdistrict with high-quality regional party building work; second, formulate an overall plan and annual plan for regional party building during the 14thFive-Year Plan period; third, strengthen and improve regional party building work in a problem-oriented manner; fourth, establish and improve the working mechanism for regional party building work; fifth, make efforts to build regional party building work into a brand; sixth, strive to set a model of regional party building.(Reported by Zhang Gaoyang)
