HUTB Holds Working Conference on Continuing Education for 2020

On the morning of November 13, for the purpose of further regularizing the management of continuing education, strengthening the management of education and teaching, improving various regulations and systems and promoting the orderly development of work, HUTB held the Working Conference on Continuing Education for 2020 in the conference hall of Fenglin Hotel. The conference was attended by Vice President Li Dingjun, members of the leading group of the School of Continuing Education and officials from 70-odd teaching by correspondence stations (teaching points). The conference was presided over by Vice President Liu Zheng of the School of Continuing Education.
At the conference, Vice President Li Dingjun commended HUTB’s continuing education work, and put forward four requirements for work going forward: first, enhance political awareness, adhere to the objective of morality and education, and implement education to the satisfaction of people; second, grasp the law of education, stick to the core task of improving the quality of education, and accomplish the objective of training application-oriented professionals; third, strengthen the construction of connotation, adhere to the main task of IT development, and enhance the modernization level of education; fourth, regularize the behavior of running school, stick to the priority of risk prevention, and promote the healthy and orderly development of work.
Zhong Zhiping,President of the School of Continuing Education,delivered a work report titled Stick to the Task of Regularizing Education, Improve the Quality of Teaching and Promote the Healthy and Orderly Development of Continuing Education. He summarized the continuing education work for 2019 and challenges facing it, analyzed new developments, and communicated the work requirements of the superior department. At last, he put forward requirements with regard to earnestly implementing the code of conduct in continuing education, accelerating IT development and strengthening the management of cooperative education for work going forward. Chen Tianxiao,Vice Party Secretary of the School of Continuing Education,announced the Decision of HUTB to Commend Advanced Units, Individuals and Excellent Management Units in Continuing Education from 2019 to 2020. Leaders attending the conference presented awards to 21 Advanced Units and 10 Excellent Management Units.
Finally, officials from the teaching by correspondence stations (teaching points) named as Advanced Units and Excellent Management Units shared their work experience and had an exchange of views.(Reported byChen Simin from the School of Continuing Education)
