“Top Leadership Project”Expert Group of Graduate Employment and Entrepreneurship of Hunan Province Inspects HUTB

On October 4, 6 experts from the “Top Leadership Project” ExpertGroupof GraduateEmployment and Entrepreneurship of Hunan Province, led by Lyu Wenming, leader of the Expert Group and Party Secretary of Changsha Environmental Protection College, inspected HUTB. HUTB PartySecretaryTang Yayang, Vice Presidents Peng Jinqing, Zeng Fuqiu and Liu Guoquan attendedrelevant meetings and investigationactivities, accompanied by keypersonnel from Enrollment and Employment Guidance Division, Entrepreneurship Education and PracticeTeaching Center, Party Committee Office and Principal Office,Personnel Division, Academic Affairs Division, Student Affairs Division, Finance Division, Youth League Committee, Graduate School and secondaryschools.
Duringthe report-backmeeting, Mr. Tang made a welcome speech on behalf of HUTB. He briefly introduced the development history of HUTB, the work and achievements of employment and entrepreneurship and the advanced facultyand student models, and saidthat HUTB would keep impetusfor development andcontinue payingadequate attention to employment and entrepreneurship as required by the CPC Central Government,CPC Hunan Provincial Committee andsuperior education sectorsduring the “14thfive-year plan” period.
Mr. Lyu introduced the purpose, content, form and otherbasic informationof the investigation, and made relevant workarrangement. He stressed that,during the one-day investigation, theExpert Group would conduct an overall investigation on employment and entrepreneurship of HUTB during the past two years inthe forms of holding report-back meetings, making field visits, referring to literatures, taking policy tests, making telephoneverification, holding feedback meetings and so on asdirected by the superior.
Mr. Zeng thoroughly introduced the overall situation of employment and entrepreneurship of HUTB during the past two years, and emphatically introduced the fact that HUTB, on behalf of undergraduateuniversities, made a typical speech on what the university has done to prevent COVID-19 and ensure employment in the employment and entrepreneurship meeting for universitygraduates of Hunan Province, and thatthe practice and experience of the “100-Day Action for Employment” for graduate employment washighlyrecommended by“Hunan Education Express” and reported to the CPC Central Education Work Leadership Group.
After the meeting, the Expert Group made a field trip to Enrollment and Employment Guidance Division, Cuiya Maker Academy, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creation Park and other work venues, organizedintensive literaturesconsultation, held graduate and faculty representative session, did policy tests, conducted telephone verification, etc., tothoroughly understand HUTB’s employment and entrepreneurship.
In the report-back meeting, Mr. Lyu gave the investigation opinions on behalf of the Expert Group. He pointed outthat, HUTB highly values employment and entrepreneurship of graduates, earnestlyimplements the “Top Leadership Project”, has explicit development positioning, takes effective measures featuringdistinctive characteristics,outstandinghighlightsand fruitful achievements. The first measure is personal engagement:HUTB payshigh attention to innovation and entrepreneurship. Thesecond one is to build the employment-oriented“three-party” linkage mechanism integrating recruitment, cultivation and employment, which has realized linkage among employment, cultivation and recruitment. The third one is to takemultiple measures simultaneously:HUTB “emphasizes foundation and pursues innovation,and takestargeted and efficientmeasures” in the employment work. The fourth one is totalinvolvement:all united as one to win the 100-Day Action for Employment. The fifth one is to take characteristicmeasures, which has resulted in remarkable innovation and entrepreneurship achievements. Moreover, the Expert Group presented suggestions and advice on how to further accomplishgraduate employment and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Tang expressed his thanks to the Expert Group for their hard work and precious suggestions on the work of HUTB. Hesaid that HUTB would earnestlystudy and implement thesesuggestions and advice, further strengthen ideologicalunderstanding, actively rectify problems and deficiencies, continue improving employment and entrepreneurship work solidly, and endeavor to realize more sufficient and higher-quality graduate employment.
