In the afternoon of October 28, the university-enterprise exchange forum between HUTB and China Datang Corporation Ltd. was held in Conference Room 206 in the Technology Building. Chen Xiaohong, HUTB President and CAE Academician, Vice President Zeng Fuqiu, Vice President Li Dingjun, and Peng Yong, a Party member and deputy GM of China Datang Corporation Ltd. and Chairman of Datang Huayin Electric Power Co., Ltd., were present in the forum.Leaders from Planning Development Department, Investment Cooperation Department, General Office and Yangtze River Economic Belt Planning and Development Center of China Datang Corporation Ltd. and its subsidiaries of Datang Huayin Electric Power Co., Ltd., and Hunan Datang Xianyi Technology Co., Ltd, and leaders of the HUTB Party Committee Office and Principal Office, Enrollment and Employment Guidance Division, Scientific Research Administration Division, Research Institute of Big Data and Internet Innovation, and members of Ms. Chen’s groups attended the forum.
Ms. Chen introduced the basic information of HUTB’s crossover and versatile scientific research groups, and high-level policy suggestions, national scientific research projects and application achievements which have been obtained to promote the construction of smart society, the development of digital economy, big data and intelligent decision-making, etc., and expected to conduct in-depth cooperation with China Datang Corporation Ltd. focusing on applying big data, AI, blockchain and other cutting-edge technologies in the field of intelligent energy, give full play to their scientific research advantages, actively cooperate and supplement with each other, concentrate on and solve intelligent matching, efficient utilization and optimal configuration of energy of “power supply, power generation and power demand sides”, and other pain points and difficulties existing in intelligence transformation of the energy industry, jointly promote the clean, efficient, safe and sustainable development of China’s energy industry, and build the application demonstration project for intelligent energy development and smart city construction.
Mr. Peng introduced the opportunities and challenges in realizing the significant goal of “carbon emission peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060” of China’s energy industry, energy management, supply linkage, grid-source integration, etc. He pointed out that Datang Huayin Electric Power Co., Ltdhas been conducting informatization and digitalization transformation, and actively promoting the construction of industry Internet, smart power plant, intelligent energy and other projects in recent years, but still needs to make further exploration and innovation in intelligent optimization, status monitoring, status operation, strategy optimization, strategy-aided selection and learning of energy facilities. He expected to jointly promote the implementation of intelligent energy application and fulfill new breakthroughs of energy management theories and application by relying on Ms. Chen’s and her groups’ high-level scientific research decision-making capability and rich experience in smart management and applying their updated research achievements.
The attendees conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions centering on significant strategic demands of China’s intelligent energy development and targeting at efficient energy resource integration, in-depth mining of energy big data, energy demand precision forecasting, energy smart management, etc. Both parties conducted in-depth cooperation and reached consensus in promotion of energy smart management driven by big data, AI, IOT, blockchain and other cutting-edge technologies, and make positive contributions to improving the international competitiveness of China’s energy industry and building a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system.
After the forum, Mr. Peng and others visited Hunan Key Lab of New Retail VR Technology, Smart City Lab,Intelligent Manufacturing Lab,Ecological Environment and Big Data Analytics Lab, AI and Robot Innovation Lab, IOT Technology Lab and Academician Achievement Exhibition in HUTB, and spoke highly of HUTB’s achievements in scientific research, platform construction, talent cultivation, social service, etc.
