Teachers and Students in HUTB Held Heated Discussion about The Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the CPV Overseas War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea

On the morning of Oct. 23, The Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the CPV Overseas War To Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea was solemnly held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the commemoration conference and gave a keynote speech. HUTB teachers and students are eagerly concerned with the convening of the conference, earnestly learn about the spirit of the important speech of the General Secretary. They have listened and watched the news through the Internet, TV, radio, newspaper, mobile phone client, etc., to pay tribute to the Chinese people's Volunteer Army who went abroad to join the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea.

As a leave-the -armycollege student, I have a deeper understanding of the hard-earned good life than my same-aged peers. I was more impressed after watching the 70th Anniversary Meeting of the War to Resist US and Aid Korea. When confronted with imperialist invaders having absolute superiority in armament, the martyrs who resisted US aggression and aided Korea vigorously fought against them with practical actions. They created many miracles that seemed impossible in the history of war with blood and life. Zhu Qi, Grade 2020 Undergraduate of School of Business Administration: 70 years ago, shortly after the founding of New China, the heroes of the "War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea" crossed the Yalu River, and bravely participated in the battle of difficulties and risks, so as to defend their homeland. 70 years later, our country welcomed the remains of these heroes home with the utmost decorum, and the heroes finally returned to the embrace of the motherland.
