On the evening of Oct. 21, HUTBheld a training conference to learn about the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection to Hunan in the Lecture Hall of the Economic Management Complex. Tang Yayang, secretary of HUTBParty Committee, conveyed and explained the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches during his visit to Hunan. There are so many people participated in the training, including study club members, student cadres, student party members, development targets, party activists and other student representatives, as well as Organization Department of HUTBParty Committee, Publicity Department, Student Affairs Office, HUTBLeague Committee and other unit teacher representatives.
Secretary Tang pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping's fourth visit to Hunan after working in the central government fully demonstrated his care and love for the development of Hunan. During the period of inspection, the General Secretary successively visited and inspected Shazhou Village, Wenming Yao Township, Rucheng County, Chenzhou City, presided over a symposium with grassroots representatives, and conducted a field visit to Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park and Yuelu Academy of Hunan University. He also listened to the work report prepared by Du Jiahao (Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee) on behalf of The C.C.P Committee of Hunan Province and the Provincial Government, and delivered important speeches on a series of major issues related to the overall and long-term development of Hunan, and anchored new coordinates and planned the new mission for the future development of Hunan. It pointed out the way forward, offeredus the fundamental aspect, injected strong motivation, and made us feel cordial, inspired, and excited.
Based on a profound grasp of General Secretary Xi Jinping's clear strategic orientation, strategic goals, and strategic tasks for Hunan's development, he explained the specific measures to the teachers and students participated in the meeting, so as to promote the spirit of the important speech of the General Secretary to take root in the land of Sanxiang (Xiao Xiang, Zheng Xiang, Yuan Xiang). He also vividly narrated the true story of Hunan party members and heroes who fought dauntlessly and struggled to defend their homeland. He spoke highly of the heroic sacrifice and the spirit of the children of Huxiang, like "the inch of land contained so many people's sacrifices, one heroic body for each step," and the patriotic revolutionary spirit of "a group of Hunanese, half of modern history." The teachers and students attending the meeting listened carefully, recorded attentively, and responded with warm applause to General Secretary Xi Jinping's great concern and emphasis on Hunan.
