[Lushan Lecture Hall] Professor Chen Bin from Beijing Normal University Came Here To Give Lectures

On the morning of Oct. 14, Professor Chen Bin from Beijing Normal University was invited to give the 101th Lecture in the Lushan Lecture Hall of HUTB. The topic of the lecture was "Research on Urban Environment Ecological Economic Coupling System." The lecture was hosted by Nie Guoqing, the leader of the school. Both faculty and students from the Institute of Big Data and Internet Innovation, School of Economics and Trade, and Central South University listened to the lecture.

Professor Chen Bin profoundly explained the subject from three aspects such as "Coupling Framework, Metabolism of Environmental Ecological Economic Factors," "Coupling, Metabolism of Environmental Ecological Economic Factors" and "Coupling Regulation." In the form of a PPT presentation, he systematically demonstrated China's current urbanization process, urban multi-factor coupling and coupling approaches, and also introduced the research progress of the research group he led and the future prospects of experts at home and abroad in this sector.
Eventually, Professor Chen Bin interacted with the faculty and students on the spot, patiently answered the questions and puzzles raised by them, and discussed with the teachers and students about the country's macro and micro measures for future urbanization.
It is reported that Chen Bin is a researcher, professor, PhD, Doctoral Supervisor of BNU's College of the Environment, Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee, and editorial board member of the Acta Ecologica Sinica. Winner of "Outstanding Young Investigator Award", was selected in "New Century Talents Plan" of Ministry of Education. He has long been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of urban and regional development, presided over the National Key Research and Development Project, the major project sub-project of the 863 plan, the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Science and Technology Support Project, the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University, the USEF and other scientific research projects, Published over 200 papers in SCI journals.
