HUTB’s 31 Projects Selected by National-level Fund

Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China releasedthe Announcement on Review Results of Projects Applying for National Natural Science Fund in 2020, the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences released the List of Annual Projectsand YoungScientist Fund ProjectsSelected by National Social Science Fund in 2020. In 2020, Hunan University of Technology and Business (HUTB) has had 12 projects selected by the National Natural Science Fund, including 3 general projects and 9 youngscientist fund projects,and 19 projects awarded by the National Social Science Fund, including 1 key project, 17 general projects, and 1 youngscientist fund project. As of now, HUTB has possessed 31 national scientific research projects.
National-level fund projects are the highest-level, most authoritativeand mostcompetitive funded projects in China, and are important symbols to measure the research and discipline building levels of institutions of higher education or scientific research organizations. HUTB has had 31 national-level fund projects, and this proves the unremitting efforts of organization and application made by the faculty and staff members of schools.
In recent years, HUTB has systematically designed the scientific research, personnel and teaching management systems, strengthened scientific research incentive mechanisms and reward support, and enhancedthe project applicationtraining and scientific research service whilst increasing the research faculty’s initiatives to apply for scientific research projects; after years of policy adjustment, revision and innovation, the comprehensive effect hasbeen visibleday by day. To promote the construction of doctoral stationsand a first-rate universitywith first-rate disciplines, the Scientific Research Administration Division will make greater efforts in scientific research management, service and application, intending to achieve better results.(Scientific Research Administration Division)
