HUTB Welcomes Freshmen Enrolled in 2020

Goldenautumnwitnesses harvest, and campuses greet freshmen. On September 18 and 19, around 5,000 freshmen enrolled in2020 registered here in Hunan University of Technology and Business(HUTB), and would start their new life chapter in university with dreams and passion. Party Secretary Tang Yayang,Vice President Zeng Fuqiu, and Vice President Liu Guoquan visited the freshmen and their parents, did check and gave work guidance, and extendedtheir thanks to the workers.
At the gates, student volunteers took temperature for everypersonenteringthe campus, and police officers gave freshmen safety tips, and university security personneland student volunteers did campus traffic dispersion. At the campuses, people comeand go well-orderly, and various welcomebanners and creative posts showenthusiasm, happiness and joy,what such beautiful scenery! Workers at registration booths answered freshmen’s questions,verified their identities, checked the health code, and helped them deal with registration and check-in formalitiespatiently and meticulously. Student volunteers were energetic, greetedfreshmen, showed them ways and helped them with luggage. Rest areas andherbal tea were available for parents at welcome sites, making freshmen and their parents appreciate the passion and warmth of HUTB.
HUTB arranged exclusive vehicles to receive freshmen at the westpassenger station, and receptionpersonnel and student volunteers provided thoughtfulservice to freshmen by leading them to the campuses, taking temperature for them, and helping them carry luggage and get in. freshmen could head for both the South and North Campus with vehicles arranged by HUTB. Hainan Alumni Association also organized freshmen from Hainan to arrive at campus and complete registration in groups. After completing registration and check-in, freshmen and their parents visit the campuses around, and took photos in front of the landmark buildings and welcome cultural and creative stop.
Freshmen enrolled in 2020 injected newvigor and vitalityinto the campuses, and their laughter addeda lot to the beautiful autumn scenery of HUTB; they will start a new journey in “promisingHUTB”,and grow, realize their dreams and achieve life goals here with the era, with our country and with HUTB.
It islearnedthat freshmen registered in South Campus or North Campus; 750 freshmen of the Graduate School and the School of International Businessregistered in South Campus, and 4,549 freshmen of other 11 schools registered in North Campus. HUTB, in strict accordance with the requirementsof higher authorities, establishedthe orientation scheme, and organized practically and satisfactorily comprehensive coordination, registration review, logistical support, vehicle transportation, lodging arrangement, traffic dispersion, network operation, fieldreception, order control, charging administration,epidemic prevention and control, publicity and reporting, etc.;departments shared out the work and cooperated with each other closely, and this effectively facilitatedthe orientation work.
